Code of Ethics
Effective date: 4 November 2026 · Last updated: 4 November 2026
1. Why we have this code
Pharmaceutical Recruitment Agency is committed to high standards of integrity. This code guides our employees and contractors so that we do business legally, ethically and responsibly.
2. Honesty and fairness
We are honest in our dealings with clients, candidates, employees and partners. We do not misrepresent our services, make misleading claims, or use unfair or deceptive practices.
3. Candidates never pay
We never charge job candidates any fee, for any reason. Our fees are paid by the businesses we work for. If anyone asks a candidate for money in our name, it is not us, and we want to know about it.
4. Fair and non-discriminatory hiring
When we help businesses hire, we assess people on their skills, experience and fit for the role. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, race, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, nationality or any other protected characteristic, and we advise our clients to do the same.
5. Conflicts of interest
We avoid situations where our own interests conflict with our duty to give objective advice. Employees and contractors must tell us about any real or possible conflict of interest. We disclose our links to related companies (see our Disclosure).
6. Confidentiality
We protect the confidential information of our clients, candidates, employees and partners, and only share it where we are allowed or required to by law. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
7. Following the law
We follow the laws that apply to our work, including employment, anti-discrimination and data protection law. We expect our employees and contractors to understand and follow them too.
8. Diversity and inclusion
We value diversity in our team and among the people we work with. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment or bullying of any kind.
9. Responsible business
We consider the social, economic and environmental effects of our decisions, and try to reduce harm and increase the good we do.
10. Raising a concern
If you believe someone working for us has broken this code, please tell us using our Complaints Policy. We will look into every concern, and we will not treat anyone unfairly for raising one in good faith. Breaches of this code can lead to disciplinary action, up to and including ending employment or a business relationship.
